There are two major sources for sermon or reflection themes for the four Sundays in Creation. The first is the Bible study materials that highlight major messages given in the key texts for a given Sunday. While the focus of the Bible study discussion tends to be on our relation to creation, each study also connects the theme with the Gospel message for the day. The second source for sermon themes is the theology behind the various parts of the liturgy. This theology is based on biblical texts and provides an opportunity to highlight, during a sermon or reflection, the purpose of specific parts of the liturgy as well as to delve into the mystery of our relationship with Christ and creation. This theology is included on the website under Theology. Embedded in the children’s addresses are additional themes that some may wish to develop for adult audiences.
